A student documentary set in October 1989, awarded the »Goldene Taube«. Around the Gethsemane Church in Berlin, people gather who have found the courage to rise up against the rigidity of state politics. There the filmmakers talk with participants, victims, commanders, those carrying out orders, Christians, communists and police officers. Open questions and listening come first, along with their errors, lies and hopes – images that no one may forget.
