The 28th Fachtagung – Klimaschutz an Schulen 2026 is a conference on climate protection in schools, this year under the motto „Nachhaltigkeit und Gesundheit“ (sustainability and health). It is organised by the Unabhängiges Institut für Umweltfragen (UfU), with Dr. Christoph Herrler as contact person. Keynote talks by organisations such as KLUG, DUH and UBA connect the climate crisis with physical and mental health, access justice and the particular impact on children and young people. The programme also includes a market of opportunities with extracurricular partners and hands-on workshops, for example on sustainable nutrition and mental health.
