A short 30-minute mindful writing workshop for anyone who never seems to find time to write. It opens with a brief meditation that draws attention to supportive contexts for your work, then turns to writing that makes space for new insights. The workshops are based at Bard College and adapt techniques of meditation to develop new awareness of and connection to writing, drawing on the work of Alexandria Peary and Christy Wegner. Mindful writing is especially effective against blocking anxieties, such as those related to audience and future revision.
