A performance evening at GROTTO featuring three artists. Adrienne Herr explores the plasticity of speech, making the voice the pivot between language and materiality. Magda Barthofer, who lives and works in Berlin, brings improvised poetry and zither music. The poet and performer Maya Martinez, visiting from New York, engages with chance, risk, becoming and being in her work; all three share an interest in the subversive potential of the voice.
