A presentation in the Arabic Studies research colloquium "ARABIC MATTERS!" at Freie Universität Berlin. Ruben Schenzle reports on his project to highlight both the Arabic language and Arabic culture(s) as an integral part of contemporary Germany. He reports on his latest encounters with other stakeholders in the field and discusses next steps in the making. The colloquium is held in a hybrid fashion, with in-person participation or remote access via WebEx.
