This screening in the exhibition space of the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein shows a selection of video works from 'A Kind of Power', the Artists Film International programme. The annual programme is organised by Forma in London and curated together with 12 international art organisations that present it worldwide. The 19th edition brings together artists and partner organisations from four continents and examines how power structures shape both the act of seeing and the conditions under which we are seen. The works examine the politics of perception at a time when images spread instantly across borders and surveillance increasingly shapes everyday life.
