"Aus Pflanzen gemacht! Farben herstellen" (Made from plants! Making colors) is a workshop where children and families make their own colors and try them out. Participants explore how dyes are obtained from plants and which color tones can be produced from them. In the Alte Nationalgalerie, paintings are also examined and the colors appearing there most often are observed. Participants paint, collage, and take color recipes home; small jars for the colors should be brought along.
