"A Place to Stay" is an exhibition at the Spreepark Art Space in the Eierhäuschen at Spreepark. It presents work by artist Iván Argote, whose sculptures, installations, films and interventions examine the relationships between people, power structures and belief systems. The show centres on the "Activissime" project, through which Argote has run protest workshops with children for more than 15 years; three films trace its key stages and its origins in his parents' activist experiences in Colombia in the 1970s. The exhibition space is designed as an inviting place to feel comfortable, where new workshops can take place, and sculptures outside the Eierhäuschen invite playful exploration of the surroundings.
