Buchkunst Berlin opens its autumn 2026 season with Le Bleu Secret, a solo exhibition devoted to the French photographer Dolorès Marat. Galerie Buchkunst Berlin gathers central works by the artist, who was born in Paris in 1944 and lives in Provence, and presents an imagery between dusk and night, observation and memory. In her pictures people surface out of the dark and vanish again, animals become quiet protagonists, and artificial light changes streets, interiors and bodies. Marat photographs intuitively and fast, and the motion blur characteristic of her work is the visible trace of this spontaneous approach to the subject.
