"Bauchgefühl" is a poetic performance for deaf, blind, visually impaired and sighted audiences aged 8 and up, in spoken and signed German with integrated audio description. It was created by the group Leute wie die, produced together with FELD Theater for Young Audiences Berlin and FFT Düsseldorf. It tells of two people who perceive the world differently and meet day after day in the same office, until one rainy day objects come to life and words turn into movement and sound. In the process they discover many ways of understanding each other – beyond hearing and seeing, because friendship is a gut feeling.
