»Between the River and the Sea« is a theatre piece, a heartfelt plea for »telling unheard stories« and for listening. Behind the piece stands Yousef Sweid, a Palestinian-Israeli actor born in Haifa. It explores his life between different cultures, narratives and realities, from humorous stories about life in Berlin to flashbacks to his childhood. It is an invitation to embrace complexity and to experience the story of a life that cannot choose a simple side.
