This picture-book cinema is a reading with acting for children, featuring the picture books "Ich bin für mich" by Martin Baltscheit and Christine Schwarz as well as "Jetzt bestimme ich!" by Juli Zeh and Dunja Schnabel. With wit and irony, it asks how democracy works: who gets to decide, how majorities are formed, and what happens when everyone only thinks of themselves. The books show democracy's weak spots and how it can unfold its strength. They are aimed at children aged 3 to 6, but delight older visitors too.
