Björn Bergmann performs his “Urban Swing” live, an encounter of ballroom nostalgia with the nightlife of a club-goer. The singer, whose voice has already been heard on Radio Eins (rbb), at the Arosa Jazz Days, at the Deutsches Theater München and at the Frannz Club Berlin, returns after his successful summer festival appearance for a full evening. Without a tie and far from palace orchestras, he plays with a band that burns and humorously asks whether romance still exists in today's big city. Anyone who thinks swing is not for them should let this evening prove them wrong.
