A book premiere featuring the two editors Eva Eßlinger and Sarah Seidel along with AvivA publisher Britta Jürgs and contributing authors such as Ulrike Draesner, Daniela Dröscher, Anke Stelling and Maren Wurster. In the book, the editors hold conversations and in-depth one-on-one interviews with nine voices of contemporary German-language literature about literature and motherhood. Topics include writing under precarious conditions, care work as an aesthetic challenge, and the demands and possibilities of literary authorship. The result is a vivid snapshot of contemporary literature across generations and differing backgrounds and life circumstances.
