A book launch of „BÜCHER & KINDER“ featuring a conversation on literature and motherhood. Behind the book are editors Eva Eßlinger and Sarah Seidel along with AvivA publisher Britta Jürgs; contributing authors present include Ulrike Draesner, Daniela Dröscher, Anke Stelling and Maren Wurster. The book gathers in-depth individual interviews with nine distinctive voices of contemporary German-language literature. Topics include writing under precarious conditions, care work as an aesthetic challenge, and the demands and possibilities of literary authorship – a vibrant snapshot of contemporary literature.
