„CHANEL Commission: Lina Lapelytė. We Make Years Out of Hours“ is an exhibition that turns the historic hall of the Hamburger Bahnhof into a space for shared action, building and singing. It is the second CHANEL Commission, made with the artist Lina Lapelytė. At its centre is a constantly changing installation of 400,000 wooden cubes shaped by performers and visitors into ever new structures, accompanied by singing and poetic texts by international authors. Visitors become part of the art and experience themes such as time, care, community and coexistence.
