"Companions Act II + III" is an exhibition in three acts at Culterim | Spaces in Berlin. With works by Min-Jia, Brad Nath and Hou Ching and performances by Otay:onii and Josefina Maro, it examines how humans have historically defined themselves through the production of an "Other," cast as symbol, specimen, tool, resource and threat. Drawing on mythology, colonial history, robotics and shadow play, three artists create hybrid bodies to recompose the terms of companionship and imagine more reciprocal worlds. An artist talk also takes place on 21 November.
