»Cosmic Opera« is a music event in the dome hall of the Zeiss-Großplanetarium in which great opera melodies merge with light and space. It is staged by the Berlin planetarium as part of its »Cosmic« series, where each event is a standalone programme. The focus is on works such as Mozart's »Zauberflöte«, Wagner's »Tannhäuser«, Verdi's »La traviata«, Bizet's »Carmen« and Puccini's »Turandot«. On a musical and visual journey through the cosmos, you explore distant stars and places in our solar system in 360° fulldome technology and dive into the sun's interior with an emotional laser show.
