- Price: Free
- Venue: Hamburger Bahnhof, Invalidenstraße 50, 10557 Berlin
- With: Ensemble Modern

A concert featuring Morton Feldman's work "For Philip Guston (1984)", performed by Ensemble Modern. The roughly five-hour piece for flute, piano and percussion is a moving tribute to Feldman's friend, the painter Philip Guston, who died in 1980. It unfolds in expansive soundscapes, forgoing dramatic climaxes in favour of quiet, floating contemplation, with subtle instrumental motifs returning in the finest rhythmic variations. Ensemble Modern, founded in 1980 and based in Frankfurt am Main, is among the world's leading ensembles for contemporary music and is currently shaped by 18 soloists from eight countries who decide their projects collectively.
