"Damaged Deliberations" is a series of discussions, workshops and films on democracy and the environment, running from April 2026 to June 2027 at diffrakt, a Berlin centre for theory. It was conceived and organised by Caroline Adler, Morten Paul and Hannah Wallenfels for diffrakt. The series explores how ecological responsibility and democratic participation can go together, bringing in artists, theorists and activists. Its chapters cover land and soil, family, waste, negotiation and speculation.
