“Dara Tûyê – درخت توت – Der Maulbeerbaum” is an exhibition within the permanent exhibition BERLIN GLOBAL. It is a project by Flamingo e.V. together with the Stadtmuseum Berlin, curated by Anuscheh Amir-Khalili. The show looks at women’s solidarity across borders, starting from the herb garden Hevrîn Xelef in Berlin-Neukölln and the women’s village Jinwar in north-eastern Syria. At its centre stands an expansive sculpture of a black mulberry tree by Ela Pour, complemented by photographs and sound design by Yalda Yazdani.
