„Swing Is The Thing“ is a swing concert at the Philharmonie Berlin. This season David Hermlin has taken up the baton of the Swing Dance Orchestra, continuing the musical tradition of his father Andrej Hermlin. Together with singer Rachel Hermlin and an excellent ensemble, he combines historical faithfulness to the sound with a lively stage presence. The programme features world hits such as „Chattanooga Choo Choo“, „Minnie The Moocher“, „Begin The Beguine“ and „Sing Sing Sing“.
