"Der Schnittchenkauf" is a theatre production at the Volksbühne's Großes Haus. It is the work of René Pollesch, whose book of the same name from 2011-2012 serves as its textual basis. The piece refers to Brecht's "Messingkauf", in which a philosopher makes certain demands on theatre that are now demanded back from the theatre. The production was created with contributors including Franz Beil, Milan Peschel and Martin Wuttke.
