This afternoon celebrates the Ecuadorian tradition of Día de los Difuntos. Guests can try the famous Colada Morada, a drink made from purple corn that is prepared in honor of deceased loved ones, and traditional bread figures known as Guaguas de Pan are baked together. The event is put on by Ecuadorian and international students, who prepare the culture and its culinary traditions with care. Those who want to come early and help prepare the Colada Morada are welcome from 12pm, and a short registration is requested.
