The documentary "Die Allee" follows a journey along Berlin's Karl-Marx-Allee, from its significance as an ensemble of architecture to the traces of German history and the filmmaker's personal connection to this street. Director Sven Boeck, who already made a first film about the boulevard in 1991, portrays a street full of utopias, upheavals and memories, whose protagonists of that time are now dead. Sven Boeck is present and will talk with the audience. The film is shown in its German version.
