A public panel discussion, a side event of the Digital Summit, asks what measures and laws can strengthen Europe's position in the international competition for advanced AI models, powerful AI infrastructure and successful use of artificial intelligence. It is hosted by the Digitalised Society division of the Stiftung Mercator, which brings in experts from its network. The panel features Tobias B. Bacherle of the Future of Tech Institute, Dr. Nicole Lemke and Dr. James Besse of interface, and Dr. Katja Muñoz of DGAP, moderated by Elisabeth Nöfer, project manager at Stiftung Mercator. The panel runs from 16:00 to 17:30, followed by a reception open to everyone interested.
