DISSOLUTIONS—Julius Pristauz is a solo exhibition at Kunst Raum Mitte, an art space in Berlin. Julius Pristauz, born in 1998 in Judenburg and based in Berlin, presents it as a total installation titled GEGENWIND, curated by Natalie Keppler within the third and final sequence of the DISSOLUTIONS year programme. The light installation sketch for an assembly, the new video B.O.Y and kinetic sculptures built for the gallery meet in a spatial constellation where hopes, resistance and shifts of power relate to one another. Wind acts as both a physical and a political force, shaping movement and testing progress against growing pressures on queer communities and the cultural scene.
