An art project in Berlin combining a film premiere with a billboard installation. It is by Dora Budor (born in Croatia) and Noah Barker (born in California), who live in New York; their new work Monte Carlo Method (2026) draws on the mathematical model of the same name, which serves to estimate the possible outcomes of uncertain events. Structured by the Monte Carlo method, originating in the so-called Manhattan Project and central to financial forecasting, the film examines a city and a century built on chance. The artists also stage the n.b.k. Billboard at the busy Friedrichstraße/Torstraße intersection next to the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.), with screenings on the ground floor of the n.b.k.; the curator is Lidiya Anastasova.
