This is a run-through of the theatre piece »Die Anderen« at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz. It was written and directed by Anne-Cécile Vandalem, an actress, director and author, and it is her first work with the Schaubühne ensemble. The story is set in a remote village in Europe, where hotel operator Alda V. hits a wounded boy on the run, who is then secretly treated and hidden in the hotel. The curious and suspicious villagers direct resentments, longings and revenge fantasies at the stranger, who uncovers a dark secret in the village – a tragicomic, dark parable about being a stranger, told with black humour.
