A theatre evening with the play „Die Nashörner“ by Eugène Ionesco, a major work of the Theatre of the Absurd from 1959. It is performed by the Theatergruppe im LabSaal, which stages the theme with comedic aspects and tried-and-tested live music. The play describes how in a society one person after another turns into a rhinoceros. Ionesco leaves the interpretation open, so the audience must make their own political, psychological or sociological readings to fill the play with meaning.
