"Fadenkunst – für Frauen" is an open, creative handicraft café at the Ingeborg-Drewitz public library in Berlin-Steglitz. Under the motto "Kreativ. International. Verbindend.", it offers a safe space for meeting, exchange and creating together. At its heart is working with threads – knitting, crocheting, embroidery and other textile crafts. Run by the Stadtbibliothek Steglitz-Zehlendorf in cooperation with Benn, the Familienzentrum Lankwitz and the Mittelhof, it brings together women of different cultural backgrounds who learn from each other and make new contacts.
