FERREZ presents Tlahtōlli – Some Words Never Die is a concert evening honouring the Día de los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead, celebrated as a colourful festival of remembrance. Behind the project is singer FERREZ, who with a seven-piece band sets centuries-old Nahuatl poems of the Aztecs to music. The music blends jazz, Latin and pop, with pre-Hispanic instruments from Mexico meeting contemporary sounds and grooves. The evening at Haus der Sinne is dedicated to words that keep sounding beyond death.
