The film "HUNGER STRIKE BREAKFAST (BADAUTOJŲ NAMELIS)" tells of Daiva, a Lithuanian TV star who loses her job in the early '90s as the studios are taken over by Russian soldiers. Together with several peers, she announces a hunger strike to reclaim the TV station, but the physical toll of the strike reveals the true needs of the protesters. It is a drama by Karolis Kaupinis starring Ineta Stasiulytė, Arvydas Dapšys and Paulius Pinigis. The film screens as part of the Litauisches Kino goes Berlin festival, organised by Giedrė Simanauskaitė, followed by a Q&A.
