„Auf den Spuren der Geschichte. Führung zur Geschichte des Ortes“ is a one-hour overview tour at the Humboldt Forum. It explores the eventful history of the site where the Humboldt Forum stands today: a Hohenzollern residence, a parade ground, the Palast der Republik and a large meadow. Using selected stops and objects, it offers insight from the time of the electors, kings and emperors up to the debate about demolishing the Palast der Republik. The tour, recommended from age 14 and held in German, invites discussion about images of history and their impact on the present.
