„Galaktische Begegnungen" is a 60-minute planetarium show with live narration that travels through the Milky Way and is suitable from age 12. It was developed by the American Museum of Natural History with support from and in cooperation with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Visualizations based on observations from the Gaia space observatory make cosmic motions visible: wandering stars, comets, colourful gas and dust clouds, and the future merger of our galaxy with the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy.
