»Galaktische Begegnungen – Eine Reise durch die Milchstraße« is a roughly 60-minute planetarium presentation with live moderation. It was developed by the American Museum of Natural History with support from and in cooperation with NASA. On a journey through the Milky Way, visualizations based on observations from the Gaia space observatory make cosmic movements visible – from wandering stars and comets to the dramatic merger of our galaxy with a smaller satellite galaxy.
