The opening of the exhibition "Giacometti. Figur. Raum" presents sculptures, paintings and works on paper from the Klewan collection at Gutshaus Steglitz, centred on four bronzes. Curated by Brigitte Hausmann of the cultural department of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, the district office's exhibition is devoted to Alberto Giacometti, one of the most significant artists of the twentieth century. At the opening Malgorzata Sijbrandij and Dr. Brigitte Hausmann give addresses, followed by an introduction by Dr. Veronika Rudorfer. Afterwards Helmut Klewan reads from his autobiographical notes and sings.
