"Hans im Glück" is a theatrical fairy tale for children at the Varia Vineta in Prenzlauer Berg, performed by the Varia Vineta Theater Berlin. Hans receives a large lump of gold for seven years of service and sets out to bring it to his mother. Yet instead of bringing the gold home, he returns empty-handed but utterly happy. The roughly 50-minute piece tells of the happiness of owning nothing, but having a home and family.
