Hope is a South Korean science-fiction monster film from 2026. It was written and directed by Na Hong-jin and stars, among others, Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon and Taylor Russell. In the remote village of Hope Harbor, a mysterious creature causes uproar: after brutal attacks, with reinforcements withdrawn and connections cut, the officers Bum-seok and Sung-ae must protect the tightly knit community while a group around the hunter Sung-ki heads into the mountains to hunt the beast, only to become the hunted themselves. The creature hunt turns into a desperate struggle for survival that ends in a tragedy of cosmic proportions.
