"I Am Martin Parr" is a documentary about the English photographer Martin Parr. Since the 1970s, Parr has captured working-class life in pictures that become a mirror of society. Lee Shulman's film contrasts the original photographs with Britain today, taking viewers on a journey through time. Parr himself speaks and offers insights into his work; Susie Parr, Bruce Gilden, Tracy Marshall and Harry Gruyaert also appear.
