This film screening with an introductory talk features a guest presenting a favorite film in person. It shows «Neptune Frost»: in the hills of Burundi, a group of fugitive coltan miners founds an anticolonialist hacker collective, trying from a camp on a surreal e-waste dump to overthrow the authoritarian regime that exploits the region's natural resources and its people. When an intersex runaway and a fugitive coltan miner find each other through cosmic forces, their bond causes disruptions in the overarching divine circuit. The guest is poet in residence at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
