KVOST presents the exhibition “Home’s Shadows” by the Polish artist Izabella Gustowska, curated by Monika Branicka and part of the Berlin Art Week. Gustowska, a formative figure of conceptually oriented Polish art since the 1970s, is this year’s KVOST fellow and receives the Claus Michaletz Prize 2026. The new works address memory, identity and transience, taking as their starting point the family house in Poznań where her family has lived since 1938. Central works include the video “Home’s Shadows”, a sentimental journey into her childhood, and pieces such as “Dinner Party”, which link private memory with Judy Chicago’s feminist project “The Dinner Party”.
