Performing is Duo Kupke / Zerbe, with Jürgen Kupke on clarinet and Hannes Zerbe on piano. The two Berlin jazz musicians have been playing together in various line-ups for over 35 years and also perform compositions by Zerbe. Their playing is inspired among other things by Shostakovich, Bartók and Eisler.
