This concert is the closing performance of a multi-day workshop in which around 25 students of the Jazz Institut Berlin gain insight into the artistic practice of Anthony Braxton. The visionary composer and multi-instrumentalist wrote a work especially for the occasion, which the resulting JIB Creative Music Orchestra will perform after learning his improvisation language "Language Music". The concert in the Georg-Neumann-Saal is a highlight of this year's Jazzfest Community Week. beforehand, the film DREAM BABY DREAM will be shown.
