"Josef Kaiser: Building for the GDR" is an exhibition about Josef Kaiser, considered one of the most influential architects of the GDR. For the first time, it explores his life and work through drawings, photographs, films, and models, shedding light on political and aesthetic tensions. His buildings include Berlin's Karl-Marx-Allee with the iconic Kino International. Contemporary artists offer fresh perspectives on his legacy.
