At KW's Pogo Bar, Krista Papista performs Salamina, an experimental excerpt from her album Euro Divas. In it, the Cypriot artist brings to life the fictional goddess of Salamina, an ancient city on the east coast of northern Cyprus. With handmade instruments and relics, she constructs a psychoacoustic ritual that fuses electronic music with Mediterranean mysticism, Tsifteteli and Dabke. The acoustic jet-ski ride leads from the pink marble city of Salamina to the Armenian stars above Mount Ararat.
