"Legenden des Nachthimmels" is a 50-minute show with live narration under the dome of the Zeiss-Großplanetarium, for ages 10 and up. The 360° show was illustrated by the Ukrainian filmmaker Iryna Filipova and her team. It tells of constellations handed down from ancient Babylon through Egyptian, Greek and Roman culture, featuring gods, heroes and monsters such as Andromeda, Minotaurs and Orpheus' search for Eurydice. The starry sky served people as a calendar and a compass.
