The LGBTQIA* Winterdays are the first part of the season of the queer Christmas market Christmas Avenue, running until 22 November before the Christmas Avenue itself follows from 23 November. Entry is free, and there is mulled wine in red, white and pink, hot cocktails, non-alcoholic punch, food and stalls with handmade products. Every evening the stage belongs to the community, with drag bingo, drag shows, karaoke and DJs. The market has existed for years and is there for the neighbourhood — and for everyone looking for a Christmas market without forced romance.
