The Maker Kids Days turn the Happylab into a playground for curious kids during the autumn holidays. Behind the format is the Happylab, Europe's largest maker community with over 2,000 members in Vienna and Berlin, as part of the WIENXTRA-Kinderaktiv programme. On four mornings there are free workshops for children aged 6 to 12: soldering, 3D printing, recycling plastic, wood turning and trying out creative technologies. Young makers and their adult companions discover playfully how much fun making things yourself is – no registration, just drop by.
