The Brazilian pianist, composer and arranger Marcelo Galter, who grew up in Salvador, Bahia, blends Afro-Bahian rhythms with contemporary elements; on his album „Bacia do Cobre“ he was accompanied by his brother Ledson on bass and the percussionists Luizinho do Jêje and Reinaldo Boaventura.
